Purpose

 

The Douglas Purnell Foundation is a tool that will allow the youth to have more opportunities to explore the various fields of science, music, health and wealth outside of the traditional classroom.  It gives students a chance to partake in hands-on experiences while applying a variety of applications to enhance knowledge and educational background.

Our program is exploratory and focuses on skill development and retention. With early exposure to such a diverse field, this platform will help aid and direct young scientists, musicians, athletes, and financiers by helping him or her advance in their field of choice while offering different avenues.

The programs correspondingly offer students the opportunity to perform hands-on, while gaining knowledge and experience.  The main aspect we will focus on is that every law of nature is subject to change, refinement, and rejection based on new observation.

The purposes of this organization are to design a program that helps deal with the record lows in the participation throughout the STEM degrees and activities nationwide.  The main point of this section is to illustrate how the next generation should consider going into the STEM fields for a future career plan.  We are not stopping there, as we are offering the chance for students to figure out their future and teach lessons that will stay with them for a lifetime.  Also as a service to the community, we will guide each student on the path of perpetual success through workshops, learning activities, and positive mentoring through our dedicated staff and volunteers.
